La First Gaia-X Data Space Summit Spain will be held on December 2, 3 and 4 at the Casa del Lector, Matadero (Madrid), positioning itself as the key event of the year for digital transformation and data interoperability. This meeting will bring together experts, companies and professionals from the technology sector to explore and shape the future of data spaces in Europe, encouraging collaboration and innovation in a unique environment.
The Gaia-X Spain Summit is presented as a place for learning, connecting and developing transformative ideas. Attendees will be able to participate in conferences led by international experts who will share the latest trends in interoperability, data management and emerging technologies. There will also be practical workshops where real challenges will be addressed, allowing participants to develop solutions in collaboration with other professionals. In addition, the event will be an exceptional opportunity to network with key figures in the European data ecosystem.
One of the highlights of the event will be the Gaia-X Hackathon, a space for teams of participants to work together on highly relevant technological challenges. Challenges include transferring data between multiple spaces using the Data Space Protocol, deploying local interoperability tools, and creating advanced credential indexes with domain-specific metadata. To motivate and reward the efforts of the participants, a special prize will be awarded from 3,000€ and three additional prizes from 2,000€. All participants will receive exclusive gifts, such as t-shirts and backpacks, making this experience unique.
